Archive format
Obscura Vault’s .obf archives follow the Obscura Flow format: a signed JSON manifest (Ed25519), optionally encrypted content (AES-256-GCM) and SHA-256 fingerprints. An archive created by Obscura Flow can be verified and restored in Obscura Vault, and the other way round.
Signature and distribution
Obscura Vault is signed with an Oorun Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple. Only install it from Oorun’s distribution channels.
